Steps to Delete Your LinkedIn Account:
- Log in to Your LinkedIn Account
Go to LinkedIn.com and log in with your credentials. - Go to Your Settings & Privacy
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the LinkedIn homepage.
- From the dropdown, select “Settings & Privacy.”
- Navigate to the Account Management Section
- On the Settings page, select the “Account preferences” tab on the left.
- Scroll down until you find the “Account management” section.
- Select ‘Closing Your LinkedIn Account’
- Under Account management, you’ll see an option for “Closing your LinkedIn account.”
- Click on it to proceed.
- Follow the Prompts to Close Your Account
- LinkedIn will ask you to confirm your decision by choosing a reason for leaving.
- You’ll also be prompted to enter your password to confirm.
- Final Confirmation
- After confirming your reason and entering your password, click “Next” and then “Close Account.”
- Your LinkedIn account will be deactivated and deleted. LinkedIn typically takes a few days to process the account deletion.
